Who we are?

Hurricane Helene created devastation throughout Western North Carolina, and Madison County.  The French Broad Crossing community stands with our broader community and looks to assist the recovery.  Volunteer efforts have ranged from clearing roads, buildings and assisting the people and business of Marshall and Hot Springs, French Broad River cleanup, procuring and providing meals to French Broad EMC, donations of supplies, equipment and money and many other acts of kindness.

The recovery from Helene will be a long process. The French Broad Crossing Madison County Support Foundation “FBC Foundation” was established to provide resources for the communities and people of Madison County, NC by virtue of their economic circumstances or catastrophic circumstances and to enhance the community via public service-related organizations, agencies and other entities serving the community.

Our commitment

The FBC Foundation will direct monetary resources to groups helping with Madison County recovery – from housing to supplies to economic development.  In addition, we will look to direct FBC community members to volunteer and other grass roots support opportunities.
